What platforms does Kampus Pulse support?+
Kampus Pulse is available on both iOS and Android, deployed as a native app to the App Store and Google Play independently for each institution.
Do we need to build a custom app from scratch?+
No. Pulse is a white-label platform - your institution gets its own branded app with a custom name, logo, colour scheme, and API configuration without any custom development.
Does Pulse work with our existing LMS?+
Yes. Pulse connects directly to your institution's LMS via REST API - no data migration or new backend required. It extends what you already have into a fully branded mobile experience.
How does GPS-verified attendance work?+
When a lecturer starts a session, students mark attendance through the app. Pulse captures their GPS coordinates and validates them against the session location, preventing off-campus check-ins.
Can students pay course fees through the app?+
Yes. Pulse includes a built-in payment module where students can pay fees online, view their payment history, and upload bank transfer receipts - all from their phone.
How are students notified about announcements and updates?+
Pulse uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver real-time push notifications to students' devices for new messages, admin announcements, class reminders, and custom events.
