UGC and SLQF Compliance — Built Into Kampus Axis

The University Grants Commission requires annual data submissions covering student enrolments, graduation statistics, academic staff, programme details, and physical infrastructure. In most institutions, this data is compiled manually from multiple departments — a process that takes weeks and introduces errors through re-entry.

In Kampus Axis, UGC data is captured as part of normal operations: student registration creates enrolment records, graduation processing creates completion records, staff records are maintained in the HR module. At submission time, a single export generates the structured data in the UGC's required format.

Private higher education institutions in Sri Lanka are required to submit student and programme data to the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) on a periodic basis. Kampus Axis maintains the student and programme data structures required by MoHE, and generates submission reports in the required formats.

Because the data is maintained in the live SIS rather than assembled manually, MoHE submissions reflect accurate, up-to-date institutional data. Discrepancies between internal records and regulatory submissions — a common source of compliance risk — are eliminated.
